Love the food here including the cleanliness, ambience, & service. Din Tai Fung is too much of a hype and we were on the 145th place on the waiting list during the weekday close to 7 pm. We decided to come here instead and you can always find something nice you will like here. So much more convenient, more relaxing atmosphere without hearing such loud noise from crowded people/background noise. Our family can actually enjoy dining and can hear each others conversations here.

Heard about this place and drove from LB to check it out. Located in the Tustin Market Place with huge parking lot so easy to find a spot. Quite big place with huge inside and outside dining area. The place is quite nice and modern decor, simple but yet elegant with glass ceiling to floor window overlooking the parking lot abs the shopping area. We got table easy (even though we make reservation through Yelp). They have 2 separate areas inside, dining and bar. Both are great. Shirley was our waitress and she was very nice, friendly and attentive. She shown us what to do since this is our 1st time here plus recommended dishes and when it would come out. The foods can take abit but worth it overall. Very tasty, moist, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The desserts, especially with the durian, quite fantastic - better than I thought. Deep fried, and well presented. Prices can be abit high but worth it from pov. Just a great dinner overall on a lazy Sunday.

I came here twice and the food was actually good. My mom totally loved it. All the dumplings are good here so you should go with big group in order to taste it all. They made the vinegar into small ball and it just melts when putting on top of the dumplings. The noodles were just ok. I wish the swan shaped deep fried durian has more durian since I am a durian lover. That’s all for the food. The service here was no good. I waved many times to order more but many employees there just ignoring me instead of calling our server. We asked for additional dipping sauce from the beginning but they didn’t provide it until we ask around 3-4 people

Modern drink tea 🫖 restaurant from Koi Palace chain welcomes its first SoCal location Place is packed! We got the mixed xiao long bao, all tasted similar, nothing special Dim sum items were average: Chicken feet, pork ribs, shrimp 🦐 dumplings Wagyu beef 🥩 fried rice was dry green beans was the best dish Durian pastry in the shape of swan 🦢 are just so adorable Nice decor 🏮 but poor service! They hired lots servers but no one was paying attention to the customers. Had to call for service every time.

The one thing to give your parents as they get older is truly.. your time. Palette’s soft opening weekend was the perfect way to celebrate daddy-o’s 74th. The only cocktail my dad knows is “the one with the salted rim” so.. lalarita with salted foam it was for dad & the jade gin drink for me! We enjoyed the dim sum the most. The young(er) crowd all loved the typhoon shrimp dumpling (basically a fried ha gow), older folks enjoyed the classics - xlb & siu mai. The soft opening menu didn’t have all the dishes but i’m excited to come back and try! The fam doesn’t eat beef so we got scallop noodles, pea sprouts and sea bass. Service was super attentive and I could tell these folks are trying their darndest to make for a good experience in their soft opening stage. I mean, dad went home and immediately approached the neighbor and told him to go try it so he must have had a good time right?!
